What is Web Content Management?
Web content management is giving customers the ability to edit the information on their web sites as often as they would like, without needing any technical expertise.
What is a CMS?
A CMS, or Content Management Server, allows multiple users to edit their information and then share that updated information with each other and the internet.
Do I need to know HTML?
No. Think CMS allows the user to make content edits with a “word processor” type interface. Developers or users that are comfortable with HTML can click on the source mode button and edit in HTML if desired.
How technical do I have to be to run Think CMS?
There are no technical skills required to use Think CMS. If you can use a simple word processor, then you can edit and manage you web site content. There is, however, some technical skill required when either converting or creating your web site. Think Technologies or an authorized Think CMS Developer can provide these services at reasonable rates.
Is Think CMS like Frontpage or Dreamweaver?
No. Frontpage and Dreamweaver are tools that developers use to create web sites. The resulting sites are many separate files, possibly scattered over many directories. Think CMS allows users to manage and edit content without having to sift through a maze of directories and files.
What operating system do you use?
Think CMS is written for a Windows environment using Internet Explorer 6.0.
What database system do you use?
Think CMS is written for Microsoft SQL Server database. Developer versions come with Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Database Engine MSDE for development purposes.
Can I try it for free?
Yes, all Think products are available for a 30 day try-before-you-buy download.
How does a CMS License work?
Any Customer that uses CMS to “power” the information on their site, must purchase a Production License for that particular computer. As your web expands to additional computers, you can purchase additional licenses. All versions of Think CMS are scalable; price is based on desired features.
Is support included with my Production License?
Yes. We provided limited support to assist with the installation process. Think also provides Product Support Plans that assist Customers with the resolution of non-installation, creation, and conversion issues.
Can I rent the Think CMS rather than purchase it?
Yes, we offer Think CMS Production License under our Hosting Plans. We do not rent Think CMS Developer License Editions.
Who owns the software?
You are purchasing a License to use the software under the terms of the EULA (end user license agreement). Think Technologies owns the software. You cannot resell the software.
Does Think Technologies offer training?
Yes. We offer training sessions for developers and end-users. Our on-line demos are definitely sufficient to teach end-users how to use the system. Developers should attend a Think Technologies training seminar. We do offer personal training for ½ day and full day rates, $500 and $1,000 respectively. Large companies are recommended to have as many developers as possible attend these on-site training sessions as possible since the rate is based on time, not by attendance. Rates do not include travel costs to consumer site.
Does Think Technologies offer customization of the product?
Yes. Think Technologies offers complete customization of all Think products. We can schedule a meeting with your personnel to discuss your business requirements. Every customization must begin with the purchase of a Production License.

Can I restrict users from viewing/editing certain content?
Yes. Think CMS comes with full security, access and approval control. You decide who has the authority to manage, manipulate, or maintain your site.
Can I rollback to an earlier version of my site?
Yes. With Think CMS you can keep previous versions, manage seasonal looks, or simply change you mind and return to a previous version; all at the click of a button.
How much does it cost to become a Think Products Reseller?
  It costs absolutely nothing to become a Reseller. Just register on-line, download the reseller agreement, complete the forms, and mail a signed copy to the Think Technologies office.
